LEADERSHIP

As Chairman of Tiberius, Rashad Kussad sets the strategic direction of the firm with a leadership style defined by measured judgment and a strong commitment to integrity. Holding advanced degrees in finance, management, and business administration, he brings more than twenty years of experience across global energy and commodity markets, including senior roles within leading Fortune Global 500®️ institutions.

Rashad began his career in 2004 in Houston with Total Gas & Power (now TotalEnergies), followed by a move to Shell Trading in Dubai in 2009. In 2013, he joined Trafigura as a Trading Manager in Singapore, later returning to Dubai to re-establish and expand the firm’s regional presence and MENA business.

In 2020, Rashad founded Montfort, a global commodity trading and asset-investment platform. As CEO, he leads a highly skilled team of traders and sector specialists, guiding the company’s continued growth across key global markets.

At Tiberius, Rashad applies this extensive operational and strategic background to steward the firm’s investment philosophy. While Tiberius invests across a selective range of asset classes, its core strength lies in the energy sector. With management and technical teams possessing global expertise across the full value chain, the firm benefits from an informed, nuanced view of both established and emerging markets.
